The role of social workers has changed and evolved during the COVID pandemic. Preparing for the next wave of COVID and other potential pandemics is now a key challenge in the social work profession. Learning from experiences of other countries with different mitigation guidelines may expand social workers’ knowledge and expertise in the field.
